Free-range eggs are eggs from hens that grow organically, live in the wild, in the open air, in an extensive area where they can roam freely and enjoy organic food.
Work on the farm is an important therapeutic framework for the members. The process of feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs gives members a chance to connect with nature and animals. The way they handle the eggs – with the utmost gentleness and patience – and pack them carefully, helps them develop the motor ability, and the sense of responsibility that rests on their shoulders strengthens them.
The farm’s produce is currently intended mainly for domestic consumption and the local market, and we hope to soon increase the quota to ? eggs per year, allowing us to provide work for additional members and expand the marketing of our free-range eggs.
