Media

Kishorit’s Media Department (Kishorit TV) was established in 2005, in response to the members’ desire to engage in the field. It provides members working in this industry with an opportunity for creative, challenging and dynamic employment, enabling them to tell the special authentic story of community members.
The Kishorit TV studios include a state-of-the-art multi-camera studio, three editing rooms, professional filming and recording equipment, a portable routing system that allows for the recording of conference and cultural events on three cameras simultaneously.

Every month, a 30-minute TV program is broadcast on the community channel (Channel 98 on satellite and cable broadcasts and on YouTube) produced by Kishorit TV. The members are involved in the production from start to finish. Under the guidance of staff members, they write the materials, interview, film, edit, produce and present the program in the studio. The program features and depicts the unique mosaic of life of this special and unusual community of people with special needs. In addition, the Media Department produces custom-made promotional films for many clients outside of Kishorit.
